This is the first Drive Theory Dispatch. We'll only send it when there's something worth your time, and there's one click to leave at the bottom.

From the shop
The building filled up this year, and the conversation I kept having wasn't about storage. It was people asking what their car was actually worth, or asking me to look at one they were thinking of buying.
So that's what we have added. We help owners buy and sell collector cars.
We never own the car. We work for you, not the other side
We price it against sales that actually happened, comps attached
Selling, we handle the buyers, the negotiation and the paperwork
Buying, we find it, check it properly, and argue the number down
Nothing moves without your say so, and we only get paid when it closes
The fee is published on the site. Nothing negotiated in a room.
One more thing worth knowing: the building is full. First waiting list we've ever had. If you've been thinking about space, reply and I'll put you on it.
Project cars and where we’ll be
There's a new shop truck. A 2026 Ford Raptor R, and it's here to work: hauling, towing to events, and being the thing that turns up when a car needs collecting. It'll get written up on the site and will post more about it in a upcoming dispatch.
We've also cleared the rest of this year's events. We'd rather run a few good ones than a full calendar of average ones, and the new dates get announced here first.
In the shop
Koch-Chemie Reactive Wheel Cleaner is in the store. $19.99, 750ml.
Acid free, so it's safe on forged, painted, powder coated and polished wheels, which is most of the wheels people are nervous about spraying anything on. It turns red as it pulls the brake dust and iron out, so you can see it working before you rinse. Spray cool wheels only, give it a couple of minutes, rinse.
